Getting wired? Here's articles on SatNav using a PDA and Installing a Camera System on your bike.

Best Biking Roads in Europe. Start dreaming of this year's touring now.

Found what looks like a good selection of maps at Maps International. Waterproof road maps of Europe, for example. Pocket city maps.

And here is an article what we wrote as a First Timers guide to Motorcycle Touring if you have never done it before.

BTW We like the book, The Last Hurrah, by Des Molloy, our review is here.

NEW REGULATIONS

You now need to carry a flourescent safety vest in case of breakdown in Belgium and France. You must wear it if you break down by the roadside. You must have it with you on the bike, its a fine if you don't. You need 2 if you have a pillion with you. Some other countries make an exception for bikes, and we are still checking on whether France excludes bikes. Belgium doesn't.

Stop Press: France changed their mind, bikes are excluded.
