You will find French Alpine tours on The Alps page.  The Alps-Maritime from Nice up to Geneva is mountainous and alpine - and of course beautiful.  Its a bit less rugged than the Swiss/Italian Alps, but its still 'Alps', so you'll find tours in that area listed under The Alps.

This page is for the rest of France including the Pyrénées, because we find they are French in feel.  No political judgement meant, and I had the best Rioja of my life in the Pyrénées after a top day's trail riding around the Pyrénées / Spanish border.
