How much weight can you add to the rear of a motorhome?

Your camper or motorhome will be plated with Unladen Weight and the Gross Vehicle Weight allowed. The difference between them is the allowable payload. Your payload is gas bottles, onboard water, awnings, barbeques,... and whatever bike you sling on the back.

More importantly, you may well exceed the maximum permitted rear axle load.  And it may well unload the front wheels to a dangerous extent!  This is how a bike on the back of your motorhome will affect things.
